A fresh way to work.

Use a familiar chair as a reference and record usable seat width, depth and seat height. Compare these with the exact office chair model. Check that the published height is the seat-height range rather than the backrest or overall height.

Check your clearance below the desk and between the armrests. Leave room to change position comfortably. If you cannot find a required measurement, request it from ONEX before choosing; a load rating or overall height is not a substitute for a fit assessment.

Read the material specification for the selected product. Mesh, upholstered cushions and coated surfaces differ in feel, construction and cleaning instructions. Check the seat and back separately, because a mesh back does not necessarily mean a mesh seat.

Compare the published material and product photographs, then confirm any unclear details with ONEX. Avoid selecting a cleaner based on a generic material name. Follow the instructions supplied with your model and test only as those instructions allow.

Look for the actual type of lumbar support and whether it is adjustable. Compare armrest movements, tilt locking and seat-depth adjustment where listed. 'Ergonomic' in a product name does not mean every adjustment is included.

Check the operating instructions and compare the chair's controls with the way you work. Bring the keyboard and mouse within comfortable reach and allow your chair to move freely. For individual health or accessibility needs, seek suitable professional advice rather than relying on a product label.

Measure the desktop height, underside clearance and distance between the desk legs. Include drawers, cable trays and crossbars in your measurements. Compare the chair's seat height and armrest clearance, and check whether it can roll into the space without touching obstacles.

If you use a height-adjustable desk, compare both the seated working position and the desk's full travel area. Keep cables clear of moving parts and follow the desk manufacturer's setup instructions.

Start with the floor area, power outlets and position of the door. Allow enough space behind the chair to stand up and move safely. Place frequently used items within easy reach and check that monitor stands do not reduce your useful desktop depth.

Choose the chair and office desk together. Compare actual dimensions and assembly access rather than a room photo. Check whether your floor surface needs a suitable chair mat and whether the chair's castors are appropriate for the intended floor.

Confirm the exact model, colour, availability, AUD price, load capacity and supplied adjustment features. Review product-specific warranty information, assembly instructions and the returns policy before purchase. Ask for any missing specifications you need for your workstation.

Read the Australian delivery policy and check costs for your address at checkout. If access is restricted, discuss the delivery requirements with ONEX before ordering. General delivery estimates do not override a product's pre-order notice or a carrier's restrictions.
